HOW TO REPLACE THE AIR FILTER IN YOUR CAR
Do you have 5 minutes to spare today? If so, you should try replacing your air filter. It’s super easy to do and could increase your engine’s performance.

Most air filters will be located on the side of the engine and have a rubber hose attached to it that leads to the engine. Below, is the location of the air filter on a Toyota Camry.
AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT
To begin, unlock the air filter housing cover by releasing the clamps, then remove the air filter.
Here is a picture of my old air filter. As you can see, it was very dusty and needed to be replaced.
It’s also important to clean all the dirt and debris from the air filter housing before installing the new air filter.
Once the air filter housing is clean, you can put the new filter in. Make sure to seat it securely, to prevent unfiltered air from entering the engine.
When putting back the air filter housing cover, make sure to slide the tabs into the pockets. Lastly, clamp everything together, and you’re done!
